Jay-Z is a business man through and through, today word came down the line that theNew York City native MC, is launching a line of cognac called D’usse. The cognac is to be produced by Bacardi and is meant to compete with such staples in the cognac world, such as Hennesy, Remy, and Martell. The liquor will be priced very affordable as well, rumor has it that a 750-ml bottle will only run about $45; not bad. Here is what the folks at Bacardi had to say about their new drink, “It is said that the unveiling of D’ ussé is a direct dig at the most popular Cognac producer – Hennessy.
As of now the Cognac sector is dominated by Hennessy, Rémy Martin, Courvoisier and Martell, which have been producing Cognacs to flatter the taste buds across the globe.
